Middle School Curriculum
Language Arts and Math continue to form the cornerstone of all educational efforts
with increased expectations and requirements in recognition of ability, experience
and knowledge. Students pursue individual and group research projects using a
variety of resources culminating in presentations given orally, written, audio/visual
or through the use of multi-media. Social and Natural Sciences integrate into the
curriculum to enriched student's appreciation and awareness of the world,
understanding of it's history and past accomplishments on which the future will
build. Fine Arts (art, music, and drama) continue to be interwoven into the
curriculum as avenues of individual expression. Enrichment classes such as
Spanish, Mythology and Latin allow students opportunities for further exploration
and knowledge. Computer classes enable students exploration into various
individual and group multi-media projects in addition to basic programming.
Computer programming is further enhanced through annual team robotics
culminating in regional and state competitions.
