Curriculum

Our approach to education is based upon our belief that the development and
nurturing of intellectual curiosity, self-discipline and motivation is essential to the
learning process. Our curriculum seeks to develop in each student a firm basis in
problem solving, independent inquiry and communication in all forms.

The curriculum is designed to provide a well rounded academic foundation by
placing emphasis upon achieving proficiency in the processes of learning rather
than simple memorization. Fundamental academic disciplines of reading, writing,
speaking, and mathematics are the core of the curriculum. From this primary
foundation the curriculum extends out into other disciplines to develop the
intellectual, creative, and physical needs of each student.

Parents are encouraged to participate in all school activities. Communication
among faculty, parents, and students is intended to encourage interaction and
involvement and to provide a strong team devoted to developing each individual to
achieving their highest potential.
